Hi, my name is Rachel and welcome to my first attempt at blogging!
I’m a nursing student currently living in Calgary, AB, Canada.  I have just over one year of school left until I will graduate with my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing!  Other future goals include becoming a exercise class instructor and high school health teacher.  I am passionate about all things health, nutrition and fitness related and I started this blog to explore my interests and keep track of my personal goals.
I have always been very active. I have loved running, biking and playing tennis for as long as I can remember. I used to play tennis competitively, and one of my goals is to get back into playing tournaments! I also LOVE running, and have missed being able to train for the past year due to some health issues. Since graduating high school, I've had trouble maintaining a healthy weight.  For several years I was very underweight, and until recently was struggling to gain weight and keep it on.  After those years of deprivation and over-exercising, I have rediscovered a love for food and healthy exercise. I still have a ways to go, but I know that I want to fuel my body properly so that I can return to running and live my life to the fullest. I have some huge goals to accomplish in the future, and I'm going to track my progress right here!
I love to cook, and baking is my idea of perfect therapy.

I am a huge nerd. I LIKE to study, read and write, and secretly wish "student" was a legitimate career.

I also love crafting and random DIY projects (see previous nerd comment).

I have an awesome family, and I love hanging out with them (probably a little too much for a 21 year old). That's my mom lurking in the background...
Oh, and I have pretty much the sweetest dogs ever. Wilson is the little one, and Kolby is the one that looks dead.
I wish to inspire a healthy lifestyle filled with beauty, whole health and love. So ya...I hope thats what you get out of this blog! If not thats cool too, and I apologize in advance for my lack of computer knowledge which will no doubt lead to some confusion/ugly and dysfunctional posting!
